Bar Codes in SAP ERP

The basis of Sappy WMS is a standard component to keep stock and manage warehouses (MM/WM) in SAP ERP system. Recording is based on the monitoring of unique handling units, the particular warehouse transactions are performed by on-line bar code scanners and optimised so as to achieve a maximum simplicity.

The use of customer and supplier labels is self-evident. The main advantage is a direct integration with stock booking and transaction link to other areas, such as production, quality management, purchase and dispatch. Terminal screens have been developed in ABAP (SAP development environment) and, hence, integrated directly. On-line connection of radio-frequency portable terminals through telnet or http protocols is resolved so that external "middleware" components do not need to be used. The graphical user environment applied becomes a standard for hardware manufacturers. Individual transactions of our solution may be configured on the customer's administrator level.
