Conference Trends in Automotive Logistics scheduled for this Thursday, 13th June 2013, at the Old Waste Water Treatment Plant in Praha Bubeneč has been cancelled and rescheduled to this autumn.

Asprova is expanding its global sales strategy, and from May 2013 comes to the market with a new licensing policy. It significantly reduced software licence price by up to 30%. Customers who don’t have sufficient investment funds therefore do not need to purchase a licence for an advanced production scheduling and management system, but can take advantage of a rental opportunity.

On 25th April, a traditional RFID seminar organised as several times before by companies associated in the initiative of an RFID Competence Center (RFID CC) - Aimtec, IBM, Toyota Material Handling a Zetes Solutions CZ, took place in an industrial hall in Rudná u Prahy.

Leading global tyre manufacturer MITAS a.s. with headquarters in Prague, deployed a DCIx MES solution for collection of technological data during production of tyres in its subsidiary in the USA. Supplier of the solution is Aimtec.

Aimtec won a third place for the most successful SAP product licence sales in the Czech Republic in the segment of small and medium size enterprise SME for year 2012. The social event and awards ceremony for partners was held at the Congress Hall of Prague Airport at the end of February.

Cooperation between Aimtec and a successful producer of components for automotive industry, International Automotive Components Group (IAC Group) has already lasted 12 years. During this time they successfully completed together a number of projects in European plants in areas of logistics, production planning, parts sequencing and electronic EDI communication.

Pardubice based producer of vehicle shock absorbers KYB Manufacturing Czech s.r.o., will communicate with its customers electronically using an EDI solution TradeSync Integration Manager (TSIM) and a logistical system DCIx JIT from Aimtec. The main objective is automation and electronification of communication with all customers, elimination of manual work and minimisation of related errors.

Aimtec won a tender the subject of which was a delivery of an advanced system for the management of a central warehouse of a wholesaler JANČA V.M. s.r.o. from Valašské Meziříčí. The main objective was a complete overview of stock levels and improved efficiency of the warehouse operation. Implementation of the SappyWMS system started at the end of last year.
